Spring time

Besides the warm sun and being able to finally get out and do something when spring finally arrives, I love the flowers.  All different kinds.  The last couple of days it has been rainy and yucky and I had spotted me some flowers I so much wanted to take pictures of. But today it was sunny and I almost drove by again because I had my hubby and boys with me....and I actually did drive by the first time.  But on the way to the house, I told my hubby I really liked this tree that I thought was a cherry tree and wanted a picture of it.  Daffodils are also planted close by so I got a picture of them too.  Crows were behind me picking at the grass as I walked around in the wet grass.

Fun in the sun!!

Today we all went to our local park that has a basketball court.  The guys really had fun.  I took pictures as usual.  My hubby did take a few.  It was a nice day, but a bit cold due to the wind.  Hope you have a great weekend!

Devin Got a Driver's Permit!

I just can't believe it.......as in the fact that my oldest just got his driver's permit today!  WOW!  The whole time we were in the DMV and he was taking his written test I was praying, "Lord please give him the answers.  Let him pass and we can start the FUN!"  God answers prayers, I just hope I don't regret asking God.....LOL.  Just kidding.  The test part didn't take him long, but since our DMV is only open 2 times a week, we waited an hour and half to get his picture taken and the license issued to him.

Strange enough though he didn't want to drive back to the school.  When I asked him why he was smart and wise enough to say, mom I haven't ever drove in town so I would like to wait!  WOW.  I was like I am ready to TAKE it all on!  And I was in a BIG city.  So glad my son is logical!  Good Job Devin, I am so proud of you....in every way!  When taking him back to the school, we saw a deer right across from our driveway.  She/He was so pretty!  I stopped right in the road and got a quick picture.  I just love taking pictures of deer, they are so cute!

A nice lil day trip

On Monday, Davey and I went on a 3 hour ferry ride to get to another town to shop and go to a doctors visit.  We had a nice day, all but the bus ride...and it was still okay, just stressful and LONG.  Ended up being 15 minutes late for the doctors.  But on the way there, Davey got a neat picture of some seagulls.  I got a nice one of a bunch of them in the water.  There was so many.  I couldn't even get them all in the photo.  Anyway, Enjoy!!

A yearly Deer, Cuteness!

Today was so nice....it made you think that Spring has finally sprung!  We took a drive today out toward Hydaburg, AK.  We ended up getting a flat tire....2nd on in 1 week for me!  Geez I have all the luck.  Anyway not much to take pictures of really but I did get 2 nice ones!!  Hope you enjoy!

Ahhhh, the weekend. :o)

It is finally my weekend.  Monday I go to Ketchikan and get to have a 3 hour ferry ride one way and then 3 hours back. Maybe I will get some pictures of some whales.  That would be nice!
